Can someone help me here?
I drive with the AC on Max all the time, and sometimes with the top down in a Convertible.

What is the BEST Jabra Wireless Bluetooth device to use for this phone that will prevent Wind, and background Noise and will give you loud Volume, and where you can be heard the best without interference..........

The Jabra 250V worked very well for me. The Motorola HS-something was good too, but sometimes it would sound like I was in a tunnel. So I returned it and I have had great luck with Jabra.

I too, have the Jabra BT250V, and it works very well for me. I had owned both Motorola ones and they fit horrible and the sound wasn't as good. I imagine, though, in a convertible your not going to get "great" sound on any headset or even handset for that matter.

I also have the Verizon version of the BT 250V, and it works but doesen't sound crystal clear all the time, especially with the AC cranked up, or on a highway at high speeds.

Fortuantely the Speaker Phone is awesome, but do you all know if there is some trick to any headset to have it crystal clear like being on the phone. Or all headsets, and especially wireless headsets going to have issues?

Has anyone used the SP500 for the Car, or the BT800 headset.

For a number of years I have used a Plantronics wired headset, as it had the best sound quality of any I could find. With that and my LG 4400, very few people could even tell I was on a mobile phone. I have now tried the Moto 820,850, Jabra 250v, and Cardo Scala 500. I think the Jabra has the best sound quality of those four, but none of them come close to the sound quality of my old wired setup.

A lot of people have touted the Scala on here, but it's been my experience that it is no better than the others. As a matter of fact, I'm having more voice command problems with it than any of the others. Scala also claims to reduce wind noise - it isn't even able to handle the sound from the A/C vents in my car.

I have the Scala and people think I'm still on the 8100. The only one who has a problem hearing ambient noise is a friend who's talking to me from an 8100 as well. And for those who have a problem fitting the Scala, go to the Cardo website and they will show you how to fit it to your ear.

Tried the Jabra 250 & 250V. Sound quality is greart but had problems with voice command after a couple of days. Returned them (2x250/1x250v) for new but had the same problem. Had techs check phone, hardware & software. OK. Went back to the Moto HS850, which I orig bought with phone. Voice command almost perfect but can't stand the delay on incoming calls. Also hard to hear. Bought Plantronics M2500 and returned same day. Unclear and static on other end - voice command worked fairly well. Now have Scala 500. Sound quality: excellent (both ends), voice command, very close to HS850. Only problem I had was 'saying digit dial', but always dialed the correct number. Did voice training and will see if any better. Unless the voice command screws up ...

I have used the old Moto 810 for over a year... It is awsome... Can move around the house 30+ feet without static.. Awsome sound quality... The 850 sucks big time... Static, poor sound quality...
