Which headset do you use to listen to music through your phone? I bought a mini-SD and the Plantronics headset because that was the only one in stock. It is the one with two plugs. That headset is NOT stereo from the phone but OK from my PDA. I need a headset that is stereo from the phone. Thanks from the satguy.

I bought a Jabra stereo headset from Verizon. Box says Stereo Earset Headset and on front of box says Stereo Headset for V Cast Phones. It too, has two ear plugs. It works fantastic! Music comes out in surround sound, loud, clear, just awesome! I'm sure other places carry them, but to be sure, you may want to go into a Verizon Store or even call *611 and order over the phone and just tell them you need the stereo headset for the 8100. I think it was $29.99. I'm sure maybe Best Buy or somewhere has similar too, just be sure it says "stereo" headset.

ok with the stereo headseat? is there supposed to be a certain way to position it? one bud's cord is longer than the other, and I can never get that microphone to stay facing out.

The side with the mic on it has a shorter cord to allow the mic to be up higher. There is a clip also on the cord to make the mic stay in place. I guess I havn't had a problem with the mic's positioning as I only use this headset to listen to my music and a bluetooth or just the handset for calls, so I don't use the mic on it. As far as the ear pieces staying put, I haven't had a problem with that. The package also comes with different ear gels to find the best fit for each individual person.

Found the Jabra headset and everything is OK except that playing a series of songs, I have found I have to start each song at the end of the previous rather than playing one after another automatically. Have you found this to be the case also?? Thanks

Yeah, unfortunately you have to start each one, it won't play all of them automatically.
