T9 Word as default for text entry?

Does anyone know if you can set T9 Word as the default style for text messaging?

OK go to:
Menu
Messaging tab
left soft key (setttings)
7. entry mode
choose the entry mode and hit ok

I just found the way to add words to the T9word dictionary. after you type the new word in with abc, press *, then the new word will be in there.
