Does anyone know how to get rid of or change the verizon wireless banner????

Change ERI banner to off. It is in the menu.

Thanks for that info, I was wondering what the ERI banner stood for. Do the E and R having anything to do with Extended Network and Roaming? In other words, if the ERI is off, will I not get any indicator of when I'm using the Extended Network or am Roaming?

If you turn that banner off, per the instructions in the following post, you will not get the Extended Network indicator when appropriate. Just an FYI, for what it's worth.
