How do we find out or how are we informed about software updates? Should I just keep checking the forum, does verizon send out emails, etc.? Thanks.

more than likely you'll hear it first - Verizon doesn't let anyone know (unless you have problem and take it to get fixed-then they'll tell you that your software needs to be updated).

Just talked with Verizon earlier this evening - no new software versions yet. They won't work on any problems unless the problems are reported by several people.

Good point. All the problems should be reported to Verizon, since the phones are mainly in their court. Then some of these problems will get fixed, hopefully.
