Memory in 8100
Well supersonic said he got the phone in this forum. How much memory you have on the phone? I have an E815 and i like the phone. I was thinking of trying out the 8100 as well due to the fact that phonescoop said it comes with 512 MB of ram. So go to VZW store that has the phone for display, and it shows only 32 megs of ram. I asked the guy and he says he has no idea. Go figure

I'm a little annoyed actually at the moment... (only because my phone was broken and I bought a phone I HATE and only have 14 days left to return it!!!) I have called virtually EVERY Verizon and Circuit City store there is in the state of FL, and a dozen in NY. It's funny how some of these people say they "got" the phone in Oregon or Minnesota... so on and so forth. Of all the states mentioned in the posts (much of the West Coast) I have contacted and attempted to contact as many stores as I possibly can (I'm off work til tomorrow when I leave for vacation LOL). EVERY person / store employee I have spoken to says they DO NOT have this phone in stock let alone on DISPLAY for anyone to see (OR TOUCH!). I don't think everyone on this site is be...

The only thing i have been told by VZW today when i stopped into the store to see if it came out. They said that it would be out this coming friday (15th) and so far thats pretty much rock solid, But subject to change. (atleast in columbus ohio)

My wife was told by a Verizon store in WA State that they will be selling it on Friday. Mean while I have one coming from 611 which will arrive tomorrow

i am in -----,ca. I called and went by yesterday and they let me take a look at the 8100 (not on the floor). I went by this morning and bought two. The official launch date is Friday, July 15 but they were ok selling them. the guy before me bought one also. It was about 930 in the am. They had a little trouble ringing them up, would not give them the number unless they put family plan in first, then the number or something like that. That is all i know. So far my son is working on his, don't know about memory or mp3's. We are counting on HoFo and this forum for help there.
