Info from Verizon - 8100 DELAYED!
Just heard through the grapevine (from verizon higher-ups) that the 8100 has been delayed. No info on a release date as of yet. I'm still hoping for the 5th although it doesn't look good.

Am I missing something. According to the thread yesterday, from Bloomberg "Lg8100 - News From Vzw Ceo - August!!!". This news piece is legit. My wife works with stocks and has access to Bloomberg. Don't count on seeing it before late July or Aug, which is when VZW is said to launch the Music Service.

This, I can confirm. Rebate pads available to order in the midwest yesterday. But, people please... don't get the Moto and regret it. LG phones are so much more reliable and the 8100 has a lot more to offer! I have a hard time being patient, but not hard enough to justify getting another Moto.

well as all of you,i also was waiting for this phone,trying cingular for 30 days,was hoping the lg was released earlier,called cingular to tell them i was cancelling,they beged me to stay,offered me free activasion,the $29 dollar plan and the razr on a 1yr contract and only paid $99 dollars for the phone....contract up on verizon....so they(verizon)out a customer!!!!i like verizon but they prance and dance so peace out to verizon.....

Your loss, don't come crying when you keep getting dropped calls and ineffective attempts.

don't kid yourself buddy. verizon never danced for your ass. this is part of the reason they never post release dates until they're sure. not even phone scoop themselves ever posted a prospective release date for this phone. if you're happy with cingular that's lovely, just don't try to make it out like verizon lied to you.
