does anyone know what the largest size minisd card the 8100 will support?? there are 1gb minisd cards out now and to load that with mp3s would effectively give you a 1.5gb flash mp3 player... will it support even more than that if/when they come out with 2gb+??

thanks... can't wait till this thing comes out already!!

The phone shouldn't have a limit of how much memory it can support. The purpose of having an external memory source is to be able to add more memory. So logically it shouldn't matter. Have you ever come across any piece of equipment that had a limit to what size secure digita card it can support? From my experience I haven't seen anything that limits the size of the sd card. I could be wrong, just my two cents.

I know the Nokia 6255 supports MMC cards. Nokia claims it supports up to 256MB. With that said someone has posted screenshots of that phone with a 2GB card in the phone showing a pic of the screen that says how much free space is left.

I'd wager that the LG 8100 will also support at least 2GB cards, but LG may only garuntee a certain size to be compatible.

i had an old digital camera that only supported 256mb... i'm hoping that the 8100 doesn't have any issues with the mini sd size...
