Is it just me or does anyone else feel by the time it's released....
this phone will be obselete. I wonder why Verizon is taking so long to release this phone?

By the time it's released there will be something else in the works (kind of like the way it was with the 8000 and the 8100). I'm sure other competitors (Motorola, etc) are now or soon will be releasing phones to compete with this one in it's price range.

yah but that happens with all phones all the time. Everybody is hyped up about a phone and then it comes out and then there is a new phone on the horizon that everyone is excited about again. Always the same cycle over and over.

I feel the same way. Think Verizon is cutting their own throat by waiting so long. I am actually thinking about just getting another phone because I am tired of waiting. Don't know what the holdup is but it seems like verizon is really behind when it comes to getting new phones out!!
If they weren't so worried about limiting the technology (like bluetooth) maybe the phone would already be out! These phone companies are trying to advance technology to make things easier and better for the consumers and then Verizon comes along and hacks it all up??? We should just go back to the old bag phones!!!

😡 😡 You're right. By the time VZW releases the phone, something better will be there. They really suck. Big time.They get away with their BS cause there is nothing else out there. Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint, Nextel? Worse! They are pissing me off, I'm almost temped. Had Sprint a couple of years back - use Nextel at work. Real Garbage. A customer service - absolutely horrible. Guess I'll wait another 2 weeks or so, then they can screw off.
