June 27?!?
According to a long thread on the Motorola e815 forum, the fairly substantiated rumor is that Verizon is going to release the e815 as well as the vx8100 on June 27. The info on the e815 came from the Motorola rep directly as well as info from a give away Motorola is putting on.
The info on the vx8100 came from HoFo. Whether or not it is exact, we'll see, but at least we seem to be getting closer. This is better than saying September or not at all!

Man I hope you are right. I've been wanting to switch from sprint to Verizon for about two months but I have been waiting for this phone.

Believe me or not, but the LG-VX8100 was tentatively scheduled to be commercially available on June 1st (Mot E815 June 21), however bugs had to be worked out. So it makes sense to release these two phones together since thier release dates are converging.

Yep June 27th. I heard it may coincide with Verizon's new Music on Demand service, whatever that is.

I have heard from a DM and a high level VZW rep that the phone will come out on the 19th at the same time as the samsung i730. I'm hoping it's not jus them blowing smoke up my a$$ but it's the same date from to different reputable sources.

I work for Verizon and the i730 is scheduled to be released on 7/7/05. No launch daate is listed yet for the 815,8100, or 570. I'll post it as soon as I see it. but the 27th sounds hopeful.
