i wanted to give back now that i figured the whole mp3 ringtone thing.....Go to the walmart site for the 30 sec clips as suggested but after saving the clips to your computer rename the file from .mp3 to .mid. but before you do that you must go to the control panel, go to tools, then folder options, click on the view tab, then uncheck the box that says hide extensions for known file types. after that you should be able to remame it to .mid, then you can email it to yournumber@vzwpix.com as an attachment so that when you receive it you can save it as a ringtone. hope this helps, it worked for me and i had the same trouble everyone was having...... 😉

Can you help me?

Hope this isn't a really dumb question BUT........

When I go to the Wal Mart site and it list the top 100 downloads.............I click on the "listen" link to listen to the 30 second sound.

If I right click it to save it, all I get is a shortcut to the site, NOT the 30 second clip. It saves as a "WSX" file?

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help 🙂🙂

What I did was go to the CD Store and in the search text I put the artist name or whatever and found the CD in the grouping. So then I just found the song and saved it and it worked fine.

Don't right click on the link. When media player opens up to play the clip, save it in media player to the folder of your choice. This should save it as an mp3 file.

How do you save it in Media Player? When I click on "file" in Media Player, the "Save As" is grayed out.

Yes, it will save fine if you are using an MP3 Audio file from Walmart. But if you come on to other parts of Wal Mart, like their "Music Download" part which is for individual tracks,http://musicdownloads.walmart.com/cata log/servlet/MainServlet
all the songs will save in .asx which will not work.

You have to get the songs from the "CD Store" side of Walmart, then the MP3 Audio link on the song will show.

Here is the link to the CD Store

all you have to do is go to walmart.com and download one of the clips and save it. once you have done that go to FunForMobile.com and hit free uploads.. type in your #and carrier.. and then hit browse to put in the tone you want to send and just send it!! 😎 sounds harder then it really is 🙂 o yea and there is no need to switch the type of file or mess with settings or anything.. it just sends as a text message and when you recieve it just go to options and hit save and then hit store and hit done and you are all set 😁

Save your cds to your computer. Go to the site below. Enter the song from your cd, you can enter a 30 sec clip of any portion of the song. Send to your phone. The service is free. You pay 25 cents for pix msg.
