need help decidin
should i get this or the lg 9800?
i like that this is smaller but i like that the 9800 has a keyboard and the stereo speakers.
i also like that this has a different menu but i also like the verizon standard menu becasue i am used to it with my 8000. the mini sd vs the micro sd/transflash duzent bother me either way.
one question tho for clarification. what is the largest the mini sd can hold and what is the largest micro sd/transflash hold? 🙄
tell me why you like this vs the 9800 cuz all help would be appreciated.
thanx for allt he help

They're two totally different phones. If your primary need is for a cell phone, the E815 is far superior. If you have substantial email and internet browsing needs, I would think the 9800 is the way to go.
I had a 9800 demo for a couple of weeks. It was okay but I wasn't that impressed. I now have the E815 and the xv-6700. The E815 is a fantastic cell phone, best I've had. But it is not a PDA phone. Not even close.
If it were me, I'd be deciding between the XV-6700 and the E815 and not even have the 9800 in the equation.

Exactly. I love it when people ask for help choosing between 2 totally different classes of device. People need to really learn what their own needs are and then learn what the phone models are meant to do.

Really I need a phone but I use txt messaging alot 😁 . I have no need for a PDA at this time in my life. Mmy uncle got the e815 today and I love it and now that I think of it, my friends who have the 9800 have had problems so Ii will most likely be going with the e815. By the way...I do know what I need and if you ask me, a PDA and the e815 are 2 totally different classes of phone 😛 🙄 .

I'm choosing between 8100 and 815, as well, but can't decide. The only thing that I don't like about 815 is the TXT entry technology, which is iTAP. I use TXT feature quite a lot and am so used to T9. After all, I've got 2 quick questions:
1. What's the latest version of the 815 firmware?
2. Is iTAP 'user-friendly'?
Cheers.
p.s.
Thanks for your reply, Brian.
