Need to replace phone - VZW warrenty

I have a phone that I bought from what I thought was VZW at the local mall (in one of those free-standing booths) just before Christmas, only to find out that it was an independent company using the VZW logo.

One of the phones is not working properly (calls go directly to VM without ringing) and I need to return it. I bought it 14 days ago, and they said to return it to them during the first 15 days, and then to VZW after that, and that there is a 1 year manufactuer warrentee. However, I have been worrying because I have been trying to reach them by phone but the phone just keeps ringing. Unfortunately, I am away visiting family and will only get back tomorrow. Am worried that when I get back there might not be anyone at the booth.

I would call customer service and explain the situation, make sure that your account gets noted. Get to a corporate store with a tech department, you shouldn't have any problem getting the phone replaced as long as they have them in stock. Good Luck
