e815 disappointment

Two issues:
1) The T-9 (iType) function does not work for writing e-mail.
2) When I sign onto AOL, there is a screen to enter user name and password and a box to store this information. It's impossible to check the box, which means you have to enter username and password every time. Verizon tech support says it's an AOL problem. AOL says it's a Verizon problem. Motorola says it's not their problem. I've spent a lot of time on hold and talking to support people with no results. Would appreciate any advice. It's very tedious to keep entering username and password.

Just fyi - I have yahoo mail, and do *not* have to reenter my email username and password on my phone, ever, so perhaps it is an aol problem...

first of all, knocking a phone for fricken email problems with aol is stupid...this phone has been rock solid for me as it seems with others...dont score the phone bad because you use it for emails...go buy a fricken pda or something if thats what you want it for...this is a PHONE...ugh you people annoy me

As I said, this phone is bad for e-mails and has some very dumb design features (no T-9 for e-mail, logon problems). Those are factual statements so grow up.

me grow up? 😁 you gotta be kidding me, you are the one who bought a PHONE to check emails and crap, no where in the phone description do i see anything that relates to emails..dude if you are a business man on the go, buy a laptop or a pda...its much more functional than a stupid motorola picture phone...just like the idiots who buy them for the 1.3 megapixel camera...its a phone...buy the thing to talk on it, not to sit and check you aol mail...so maybe sir you should grow up...enough said on my end, and im sure most everyone on here will agree with me that you shouldnt rate a phone bad due to your stupid aol email 🤣

ok I agree that it sucks that get-it-now doesn't support ITAP, but I have to say the mobile web and aol thing is a non issue for me the phone saves your info so all you have to do is type the first two letters and your scn pops up and then you just gotta add your password, on a side note this isn't an 815 issue its a wap issue Yahoo, Gmail, & MSN all remember the passwords and scn

and I only use wap to read mail but I can see how typing emails can be an issue.. if thats your main focus with having a phone take it back and get either the 9800(V) or maybe one of the palm/bb devices

Thank God for the judiciary
