Texts to other carriers fail way too much
Just got my E815 a couple days ago and it seems like a fine phone, except for one thing with the text messaging.
I've noticed that, when I'm sending texts to other Verizon phones, they always go through nice and quick, and the "recieved" checkmark thing is neat and all that. The problem is that, when I send to phones on other carriers, the texts just dont get there more than 50% of the time. Today, for example, I've sent 10 texts to non-verizon phones, and only 3 got there. Similar thing with recieving messages from non-Verizon phones; half of the texts just don't ever make it to my phone.
With my old phone (old-ass 2002-03 LG something) I never had this problem, same plan and junk.
Anyone noticed this? I'll call CS in the next coup...

i think they may get them but if u send to a non-vz phone, u won't get the little checkmark telling u that they got it.
i thot the same thing (they weren't getting them) cause they dont get the little checkmark. but i asked the recipients and they said they get them ok.

No I don't think that's it, I know the checks only show up for messages to other vz phones.
I know they don't get the messages because I'll see or call the person I tried to text and they'll tell me they never got it.
Me: "Hey did you get the text I sent at 6?"
Them: "No..."
Me: "What about the other three I sent?"
Them: "I didn't get any, but I tried to text you at 8 and you never answered."
Me: "I never got that. F-ing verizon."
