I had an echo problem and I exchanged my phone one time and the second one has not had the problem since. Does everyone have an echo problem? Or is it just a select few?

I just got an E815 today.. it has a slight echo problem. If I hold the mic further away from my mouth it seems to make it better and the other person says they can still hear me OK.

I have the same problem after 3 phones. I have tried the SCH-950 Samsung and it does not have the problem. I have tried many of my friends Motorola phones and they all have the same annoying Tin Can ability to hear yourself while talking into the phone. Samsungs phones do not have this problem and that is why I am changing to SCH-950. Good luck.

My echo occurs only to the caller I am speaking to. They often hear their voice repeated back to them a fraction of a second after they speak. It is VERY annoying to them. It does not always happen. I am on my third 815 phone from VZ and the echo is still recurring but not consistently. I would like to see a fix from Moto!

I am having the same exact problem with my phone except that it only does it when I am using my bluetooth headset. It works fine when using it as a normal phone. I got my phone very early and have no problems except for this. I am using a Nokia headset and will try a different brand, but theirs is supposed to be one of the best.

I have the Moto 820 which does not echo, and the Logitech Freedow which does echo. Leads me to think it is brand and not the phone. I think the mic is so senitive it picks up their voice and it is echoed. I don't hear it.

My dad has a Nokia phone and Nokia BT (HSW-11 I think). His doesn't echo, the same headset on my Moto 815 does echo. We tried the headset on a LG and it also didn't echo. We think it is something with the BT on the Moto.
