Speaker Phone Function

Hi All,
I just got my new E815 and I have been playing with the speaker phone. When I am using the speaker phone with the lid shut, I know the speaker is on the back of the phone but where is the microphone?

Same place it is when the phone is open! 😕

If you look close at the front of the phone when it's closed, you will notice that it's not fully shut but that the top piece is sitting on top of the stops attached to the bottom piece.

The microphone is near the right side stop.
