815 vibrate mode

Has anyone figured out if there is a way to increase the vibrate mode on the moto e815...seems like it is the major flaw in the phone....

YES, MAJOR FLAW...and there is no way to increase it !!!!

You can change the types of vibrate which helps some but the actual strength of the vibrate is a hardware restriction and can not be changed. I use one that is better than the default and works ok, but still not great.

It is NOT a flaw, but is less than desirable by some. A flaw is something that doesn't work the way it is designed to. I flaw isn't something we just don't like! 😉

I actually think the vibrate resides in the battery and whoever made the battery for Moto is at fault. But then, it may have been made to Moto's specs.

I was also disappointed with the weak vibrate. Since I use the vibrate 90% of the time, this was a big deal to me and I almost returned it for this sole reason. But, after I used the 815 for a while, I realized no phone is perfect and overall the phone has been very impressive.

My work around for the lack of vibrate was to use the "soft" ring mode in low volume with the non-intrusive "tada" ring. It still makes noise, but it's very subdued and I'm usually the only one who hears it unless someone is stand right beside me.

I've also noticed that if you clip the phone to your pants as opposed to just your belt. Letting the inside clip closer to skin. It does help in feeling the weak vibrate. Using the rigid OEM clip also helps to amplify ...
