Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
PC sync with OUTLOOK
hey guys,
i'm thinking of switching over to the e815. i just bought the LG 8100 and there is no MP3 or PC syncing on it. does the e815 have the capability of syncing OUTLOOK contacts/calendar? this may have already come up, but i'm new on this forum. i've heard of the MPT. does this sync it with OUTLOOK or its own contact list? does it come with the phone package or as a third party software?
i'm hoping the recall has been resolved too.

There was not recall. Verizon just did not want any more phones going out until they ALL had the right software with V-Cast.
As to syncing, yes, the 815 will sync your contacts and calendar. It does not come with the software though. That will have to be bought separately.
Do a search of this forum, search is at the bottom of the forum, and you will find lots of info on syncing and MPT and other software.
