I might have a problem. I am planning to get the e815 when it comes out but my father, who is the main account holder, is away until late June. Do you guys think I could still upgrade my phone even though I am not the account holder? Thanks for any responses.

😁

Considering their track record, the phone may not be available until June, July or even August. 😁

Pardon my cynicism.

depends if your dad can add you as an authorized signer if he can then you can upgrade but he needs to call verizon and set that up

no you can not buy a new phone without your dad there. Buying a new phone at anything other than full retail (hundreds of $$) requires a contract extension. the only person that can extend a contract is the account holder (your dad) and this requires a signature, or verbal agreement if you want the phone shipped to you about two days after you purchase it.
