I went to the Verizon store, and bought my V710 last Sunday for 150 (didn't send in the $50 rebate yet) bear in mind as you read this,
ITS NEW OUT OF THE BOX FROM VERIZON !

1. Camera lens frame was dented

2. Battery life is less than 2 days if you leave the BT radio set to always on.

3. the keypad light seems to dim if you press the keys to hard, or hardly at all.

4. Charger connection seems to require you to touch it just right before it stays charging.

5. Metal strip between the END/power and 3 key is coming up, pushed it down with fingertip.

I should put this in the review section.
I think I will !

WAITING FOR THE E815 if its anything like what the 710 is, then it will kick balls !!!

I did the same thing. I bought the v710 on March 31 and took it back 4 or 5 days later when I discovered the bluetooth was crippled (OBEX & OPP) by Verizon. It made no sense for me to pay $150 after rebate for a phone that was crippled (of course now with 2yr contract it is free). If I want a wirless earpiece all I would have to do is buy the little bluetooth adapter that plugs into the phone for about $40. For those of you that don't know about the v710 history check out the following site as it is one of many write ups on the phone.

blah blah blah...everyone knows about the bluetooth situation..Good Lord do some research before you buy. Its still a great phone, but as it appears you just follow the bandwagon.

Who are you referring to Gunny? Yes, alot of people do know about the bluetooth situation but there are always people just finding things out. No reason to be arrogant about it.
Nobody becomes an expert overnite.

Besides the definition of a "Forum" is a public meeting or assembly for open discussion.
That is where many people get their info to begin their research.
