I bought this TCLA3 phone at Walmart with strait talk $35 sim last year.I use it only when I visit USA for a couple of weeks.The first Sim was 30days plan so it expired now.Do I have to get straight talk sim again or works for any sim?

The phone is still locked to Tracfone.
You can use any Tracfone brand SIM that you can activate. E.G, Tracfone, Total by Verizon, or Straight Talk for Verizon network service; Simple Mobile and Walmart Family Mobile for T-Mobile network service. Walmart and Target sell SIMs for some Tracfone brands and can activate them with a plan, or you can visit an independent dealer or Total by Verizon store. You or a Walmart can also try to re-activate your current SIM card with Straight Talk if you want, but it might not work.
If you first activated this phone on or after November 23, 2021 when Verizon bought Tracfone, re-activate it with Verizon network service (see above). The phone might be eligible for free unlocking by Tracfone after a second ...
