TCL A30 / A3

I bought this TCLA3 phone at Walmart with strait talk $35 sim last year.I use it only when I visit USA for a couple of weeks.The first Sim was 30days plan so it expired now.Do I have to get straight talk sim again or works for any sim?

I am receiving notices at the bottom of the screen for things like memory freed up or permissions needed by an app. Sometimes they stay, even after the app that triggered them is closed, until something triggers another notification. Sometimes they obscure the bottom row of the keyboard and make it very difficult to work. I can't find any setting to turn them off or limit the time they display.
