Hate to agree with Mr. Box but this phone is overpriced
I examined phone yesterday and was very impressed. However I paid $199(before rebate) for my 8200. This phone is over twice the price!!!
I believe this phone is awesome feature wise but certainly not worth $429(before rebate)
I will buy phone when they drop price on it. I may even consider mm7400 if price on that drops.

I hate to tell you and miss box but this phone is a high end phone hence the high end price. It is not for everyone that's for sure! There are phones out there maybe that would suit you and miss box better such as nokia, and very low end samsung.

I dont see this phone dropping in price till its ready to be takin out the line up. Look at the 5500..its retail is 349.99 ( only 50 dollars less then it was when it came out) and it came out in Nov 03.

The 5500 is only $279.99 before rebates now through 4/6! Also the 7400 dropped from $379.99 to $349.99 after a couple of months so you can wait and let the 5600 drop, cuz it will eventually.

THATS realy funny Because at our sprint store the 7400 is only 149.99 not the 349.99 it started out as and that only took a couple of mounths

Alamosa PCS market stores are selling the 7400 for $149.99 AFTER rebate. It is still $349.99 for the full price.

Money is not the object sweetheart. It is value!And compared to other phones on the market I would hardly consider this to be a "high end phone". you need to do a little more research when it comes to cell phones. This site is an excellent resource. Good day.

Maybe you should take your own advice and do some research! There is no other phone currently in the US with the features of the 5600. MP3 player, 1.3 mega pixel camera, up to 90 minute video capture, QVGA screen, pictbridge compatible, oh did you know you can also make and receive calls on it. Pretty cool huh! Nuff said!
