Sanyo MM-5600
Does the 5600 have a built in Flashlight like the 8200?
I know Mr. Box you carry a separate flashlight with you along with your camcorder and other electronic items. This feature however is important to me.

here are some of the most ridiculous things people have been wanting to know about their over-price phones:
- does it have a flashlight
- does it "click" LOL 🤣
- is the mp3 player better than an ipod
- can you use it as a modem
there are so many more idiotic requests that i can't even contain myself to find them all.

If the only thing that you have to do to occupy your time, is to hang around on message boards, making fun of people for researching their electronics purchases, then you need to get a life. I feel sorry for you that you have so much fun, belittling other people. That is a very hollow way to get enjoyment from life.
Obviously you don't enjoy lots of features in your cell phone. I understand that most people want a phone that's kind of basic. But there is nothing wrong with wanting a device that does more. Yes, there is a mini-flashlight capability with this phone. Check page 58.

In case anybody is wondering, I currently have a 4 year old Samsung i300 PDA phone that is on it's last legs; the battery dies after making a 5 minute call. I used the bright LCD display as a flashlight many times. So as far as I am concerned, the original poster's question is a very good one.
If one is considering purchasing a $400 phone, I would think that the consumer has every right to scrutinize with nit-picky q...
