Speed Dial Question

Okay, please no smart aleck answers.

And I did try to read as much as I could in the manual. I have a Samsung N400 (yes you can stop the laughter now), anyway, I can assign a number to as many as 250 different people and just press that number and talk to get them. Such as, if my friend is 55, I can dial 5,5, talk and it will dial them. Does the 5600 have this feature beyond the standard 2-9 entries, because it reads as if you only have 2-9 as options?

I asked this same question and no one wanted to answer it. Unfortunately, I found the answer to this question by reading the Manual and no you cannot according to the manual assign more than 8 people to speed dial for locations 2-9. The first 8 people you wish to assign is all that you can place in speed dial. I hate that about Sanyo. I do not know why they do not allow for more speed dial locations.

Snoopy, I actually have the same phone (and didn't know about those extra speed dial spaces 🙂 )... I got the N400 probably about 3 - 4 months after it first came out, so obviously I've been ready for an upgrade for a while. heh...

I've been patiently waiting for a killer phone to come out, and it looks like the 5600 is going to be it.
