So, upon comparison, I noticed that this phone does not have anything in the box for pc connectivity, does anyone know how pictures and address book will be able to be transferred to and from a PC? also any info on when the phone will be available?

Well it does. The phone will come with a USB cable which will be used to transfer pictures, videos and MP3's to and from the phone and pc. It will also serve to connect to a PC at a photo lab to make prints of your pictures. There is a thread with the users manual on here with lots of useful information. I suggest you check it out.
