Problem with Setting Time

rkt

Just brought the A780. When I was setting the clock, I noticed that GMT as shown in the phone is off by +1 hour. This of course creates an error in ALL city time settings and errors when I sync with Outlook Calender on my PC. Have not seen this problem mentioned in this Forum. Am I doing something incorrectly?
Thanks in advance!

I had the same confusion when I pulled my out of the box. I "fixed" it by checking the little rising sun symbol directly to the right of the time field. I turned on Daylight Savings for that city and it matched up. Even before the phone I get a little confused about when it's daylight savings time verses the other one. I just know "spring forward, fall back." I don't know if this will work for where you're located though.

Hope it helps.

Found that by tapping the local time readout (when the screen shows times for Local, City 1 and City 2), a box shows up that allows one to change time in fixed increments. I changed by -1 hour, which then changed the times for all 3 locations to the correct values. Then I used the sun icon to set DST as needed.

Thanks for the help anyways.
