um, does anyone know how to type in "/" There's got to be a way, but I can't figure it out. for inputting website URLs..while you're at it, is there a way to input "(" or ")" for phone numbers?

you probably already know this, but if hold down the * button, you can access a symbols menu.

Actually, the way it works is:

Press the "*" key during text input to cycle between the various input modes as follows: "123" = digits only, "abc" = lower-case multi-tap, "Abc" = initial-cap multi-tap, "ABC" = all-cap multi-tap, "t9" (small 9) = lower-case iTAP, "T9" (small 9) = Proper-cap iTAP, "T9" (large 9) = All-cap iTAP.

Press and hold the "*" key during text input to invoke a menu whereby you can choose 1-Symbols, 2-123 (digits), 3-abc (multi-tap), 4-T9 English (iTAP), 5-T9 Language.

Press and hold the "#" key during text input as a shortcut to invoke the Symbols menu (same as pressing and holding "*" and then pressing "1" for Symbols.

Note that if you're using a T9 method, you can press "1" during input to select "." as t...
