bummer....will still check it out...9900 is kind of a brick....6100 has a stupid stub antenna....have to see what this has to offer.

same charge port...after a month or so of getting abused...the 710 charger seemed to hold up
i'm alittle wary but i've seen lg chargers blow out...its more owner error than anything else(altho my 4400 does give a firm click with the car charger is put in)
i really liked the v265's small size...small screen was a let down...motorola's top quality speakerphone was an appeal..plus moto's accessories(like their bluetooth adaptor)
i definitely gotta see the price vzw gives us employees and see how it sells for the first couple of weeks...lg 6100 is on my list too

phew, seeing as how i have had a motorola phone for the last 3 years, I have 4 car chargers and literally a wall charger in every room of my house !!

You mentioned you're a Verizon Wireless employee. Do you already have these in your store? Based on your comments, it sounded like you have already held the phone, or at least seen it up close. I know the screen is small, but is it at least a good quality screen in terms of color and clarity?
Is the November 5th availability/release date legit? I'm from New Jersey and I honestly can't wait for this phone to come out...in fact, I'm taking off from work next Friday to be one of the first ones to get it! I have an LG 4400 now that I've had lots of problems with. No more LG for me. Hope this Moto lives up to my expectations. Thanks for your help.

i really can't comment on specific date or pricing...but time and pricing will be attractive
i have a 4400 myself and after several exchanges finally have a 4400 blue that has been trouble free

as far as using it...we haven't set one up yet so i don't know the sound quality...the camera quality isn't bad...the screen is small like the 4400...but the size of the phone is very small and is what leaning me towards this phone...changeable faceplates and motorola's accessories is another thing

i gotta admit i'm disappointed with the color screen of the v265...i've stared at it long and hard trying to convince myself to buy it cause its a small phone...and its expected to be cheap too...but i dunno...think i'd rather spend the extra money and have the same size phone as my 4400..and go with the 6100
