ringtone question

Is it possible to assign unique ringtones to different contacts without getting the Mobile PhoneTools software? If so, how do you do it? I've tried looking in the manual and found nothing as of yet.

do u mean setting ring tones for specific people in ur phonebook? if so, u click the person's name, edit, and ringer id.
