RazR Bluetooth connectivity

ok, so i recently got a razr (from a v551) and i have the motorola phone tools software and so i make my own ringtones and such and my friend who has a v551 wanted some ringtones so i was going to connect to his phone like ive done many times before with my old v551, except this time neither phone can find each other. so another person that was there when we were doing this had a 551 and their phones were able to connect but neither one could find my phone. did cingular or motorola disable the connectivity to other phones with the razr? my girlfriend has the silver one when it first came to cingular and i was able to send her ringtones too.... so i dont know if im not doing something wrong because this isnt the first time ive done this. ...

😳 Alas, you are not alone. It seems that, for reasons unknown, the Razr does not like to be found by other Moto phones. My wife and mother in law both have Razr's (as do I) and none of them will find one another.

I have a buddy with a Verizon (Black) Razr and his found mine only after reboots.

My sister in laws V555 will find it, sometimes, but when trying to connect, I get an error, Service not supported. Dunno why. Havent' contacted Moto yet.. local SunCom store was no help at all. The sale guy found my Razr with his SonyEriccson phone and my buddy is always able to connect with his Nokia.

This is an apparent issue with either Moto to Moto phones or the Razr in general..

This is yet another question I'd like to get a dec...
