One Touch Vibrate/Silent?

gadgets

Does anyone know if there is any way to quickly turn on vibrate and/or silent mode without going through the ring style menu or using the volume keys?

My previous phones have allowed this by, for example, holding in the # key for a few seconds, but that doesn't work on this phone. Using the menu system on the Razr causes, at the very least, a chime when trying to set vibrate -- which can be a problem when you want to quietly silence your phone. Using the volume keys are even worse if you are already at maximum volume and need to silence it.

Is there a way to do a one-touch silence operation?

Make the style key a shortcut then you can put your phone on vibrate or silence without disturbing anyone 🙂

Yeah, I've figured out that if I set the key volume to 0 on all profiles, I can at least use this method or the method suggested by bbbssport to silently turn the phone on vibrate.

But I guess there is no way to do this with one key then?

You can use the smart keys on the left hand side of the phone when closed. First the "middle" one, then the lower one to scroll through the sudio profiles.

Yes, but like he said that makes a noise.
