Hi -I currently have a Motorols V600, and am not too happy with it (poor reception, dropped calls), and I am thinking of switching to a Razr V3 (Tmobile) - has anyone had both? How do they compare?

I've recently switched from the V600 to V3, and I have found that the reception of the V3 is better than that of the V600 (both on the Cingular network).

I used to have a V620/V600i. I switched to the V3 a few months ago. The V3 does have much better reception than the V620/V600i. I'm on Cingular, if that makes any differences. 😈

well i never had a v600, but rumor has it that the v3 is just a slimmed down version of the v600. as far as recption goes with the v3 (with t-mobile) is great! except for in my house. just my luck huh. turns out that all my other t-mobile phones (v300 & piece of crap siemons) were able to pick up and register on cingular networks. but for some reason the razr can not register with cingular towers. the t-mobile tech said because of conflicks with the sims card and the razr.
