YAY its my turn.. i had a se phone prior to my getting a moto phone so first i got comfortable with the ease of se's text messaging and small none important thingz like that.. so when i went to moto i was dissapointed moto * my opnion * is moto is much more difficult and not as convenient when it comes to te xt messaging and the phonebook and small things like that.. so when i saw the razr ..i was in aww wow a great looking phone, but with all the same things for the most part that my v400 had . i was unhappy with my v400 so im sure to be unhappy with another moto which isnt a smart phone.. i hadnt seen the razr till actually todoy in person and well it was even smaller a very nice phone lookz great but like i said all the same plus a few...

I agree with your comparison of the phone book and other software implementations. They could easily be improved but Motorola is staying with what they have and the only reason I can think is that it makes the transition to a new model much easier for former Motorola owners. This is the same thing Cadillac does with their interiors- keep the buttons & knobs where they are so potential new owners will feel right at home the first time they sit in the driver's seat.

However, that being said, I also think most RAZR owners are first and foremost mobile phone talkers and not camera, text messaging, or game playing users.

This may be part of the high price strategy as well. People expected to buy this phone already have a Motorola and it's c...

I have had a Razr for about 3 weeks now and I must say that as a PHONE, it is the nicest I have owned. everything works just like it should and reception is better than i expected. but, still, it is just a phone. since I have been a moto user for a few years, the transition was very easy. texting is easy for me i guess because of my moto history, but i do understand what you mean.

You know, the RaZr is the 1st Moto I have ever owned. I have always been strictly Nokia. But, the futuristic look sucked me in when I saw the phone for the 1st time on the Moto website. I don't have any probs with the menu's or text mess. I actually like it better than Nokia. I like the predictive dialing. Words pop up that I use often, before I am done spelling them....making it faster to type out. And this dude needs to check his spelling...seriously. 😎

i didn't ask for your commentary in regards to my spelling.. im well aware i do not spell all that well..you understood clearly what i ment, that is all that matters..now like i had stated i think this phone is just WOW when u look at it.. it holds true to flat out gorgeous..i still think even though yes it has predictive text which is a plus but still not enough for me to consider the razr as being convenient..its looks and flair is all that i trully love about the phone.. i don.t like my v400 at all so there for chances are i would like this when it came to it's iner workings..thank you for your comments as they were appreciated..

1st impressions are everything on the internet, if not with the RAZR. 😉

For someone who's comback is that "it really doesnt matter", you may wish to rethink your spelling issues, especially since you are using a BB, and can spell check it before posting (See middle button way down there below ...).

Otherwise, when you post something of a more serious nature than a phone review, you will likely NOT be taken more seriously as well.

As for any poor grammar, you're on your own, but for spelling here on this board, it's just lazy...
