Motorola RAZR V3
sold in less than 1 hour
I called my local cingular store and they told me they don't have the RAZR V3. They got 1 in last week and it sold within the hour. Gosh, is it that difficult to buy the phone? I can't seem to get the phone or any information about it so far.
Wonder if the new shipment will be locked or not?

I was one of the people that went to my local store and bought one of the two they got in "within the hour" last Wednesday. With the official launch yesterday, I expect store stock is hit or miss. Another post says the website is on backorder status.
My only advice is, try to visit AT&TWS stores. They converted the stores to Cingular yesterday, and this phone was timed to be sold when that happened, so maybe they got the bulk of the stock?
I also wouldn't accept at face value that your local store doesn't have stock. I have no evidence to support this, other than what I would do if I were a store manager, but maybe they're "putting some aside" for key (i.e., high minute plan) customers? Sorta like a hotel is never really "sold out."
