this phone is really not worth all that money. It did not impress me. I held a V551 and then a samsung e317 and I could not believe the price difference compared to the V3. This is an absolute ripoff in my mind. It is the most expensive phone cingular has ever offered with a 2 year plan, according to the rep. I went into the store after calling asking if they had one, thinking I'd love it and walk out with it. Turns out it's $500 for a slightly thinner phone with identical/fewer features than the v551. Eeeeeeek thank god I went and checked it out before buying the darn thing on-line.

Yeah, it's not the most expensive phone we have offered, even in the past past couple of years. The Handspring Treo 600 was about $500 when it first came out.
