Hi, I am debating on whether or not to get the Moto V3 or the Moto V710. I really like the V3 but like the features of the V710 but with all the problems going on with Verizon and that phone who knows what is going to happen. I currently have ATT and have the V600 and I think its a piece of crap 👿 so..... any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Definately the V3. Its Bluetooth really WORKS! You can't even compare the screens (the inside and outside screen) The V3 is a dream! a messy one 😲 if you know what I mean lol 😉

Ok, now does your contract with ATT have to be over or can you just migrate over either way???

No, you can migrate at anytime, even if you just started a 2 yr agreement with ATT. You'll get a new phone (hopefully the V3) and new plan. 😉

The early termination fees are being waved when you come from ATT to Cingular. I've been porting ATT customers for two weeks, under contract and out of contract. Starting on the 15th you will be able to "migrate" which is a different process than porting.

What is the difference between porting and migrating??? My contract started for ATT in August and I have a one year contract so what does that leave me at if I want to get Cingular service and get the V3. Would I have to pay an early cancellation fee???

No you would not. porting after the 15th will be for customers that are not currently with cingular or att there is not Early Term Fee and there is not deposit required if you had one when you first signed up 🙂

I have had 5 V710's in the last three months (kept locking up in ROAM and would totally lock-up the phone, no incoming/outgoing at all). The internal display on the V3 is the same as the V710 (great display). The V3 has a fully functional Bluetooth vs. the "crippled" BT on the V710 (thanks Verizon). The only advantage that the V710 has over the V3 is that it also has Analog service. If you compare the digital (GSM) coverage of Cingular/ATTWS vs. Verizon digital, they are virtually the same. Since the FCC is about to allow carriers to start turning off their Analog Towers, then the addition of analog capability almost becomes a moot point. One advantage that the V710 does have is the Trans-Flash memory card but that too is negligible advantag...
