$499 for new Cingular customers only at www.wirefly.com. There still seems to be no way for existing Cingular customers to get it. That's perverse.

Bet they're not shipping yet. 😁

Cingular had it on their website and started taking orders - for one day - but did the smart thing and pulled it when customers staerted complaining about it not being availbale to ship yet.

They also were able to test the market's reaction to the $500 price without actually having to fill the order. Pretty smart, if you ask me.

Wirefly has no equity interest in either the phone or their customers. It's a one-shot deal. They can blame Cingular when it doesn't ship when Wirefly told them it would.

bbbssport, they can blame Cingular if your credit isn't approved, but not for phone availability. Wirefly orders are shipped by Inphonic. They don't get the phones from Cingular.

Confirmation e-mail:
Your estimated delivery date of 11/11/2004 is based on your selected shipping method and immediate credit approval by Cingular Wireless.
