So which is fasteror are they same thing? Is edge faster than class 10 also will this phone support 3G?

Edge is a half of a step above GSM.. the reason for EDGE::: GSM companies (AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile, Nextel) are trying to get to WCDMA which is the newest level of cellular technology, and EDGE is kind of the soft step upwards... very similar to how Cingular introduced the GAIT technology to upgrade the TDMA customers to GSM... I don't remember all the specifics... I have been at Cingular for a year and they are training me along with 149 other people on the new billing system we will be using to take Cingular and AT&T calls, and when my trainer was talking about that upgrade process, etc., I was: a)sleeping, b) playing with a crossword puzzle, or c) emailing somebody... sorry! Now I wish I had paid more attention ðŸ¤
