I'm thinking about getting this phone... I'm real big on setting MP3 ringers. Will I be able to download MP3 ringtones to it from the TMobile website?

Hello, BaiLes. That's a good question. This phone does not support MP3 ringtones, only polyphonic ringtones, which can be downloaded from T-Mobile's website.

Depending upon the quality of sound you want from the phone, there is a viable workaround, as the phone can do voice memos. You can record the MP3 that you want to play as a voice memo and set that memo as your ringtone. You might want to play around with that in the store, as you look at the phone.

Hmm, that may work... I suppose the sound quality wouldn't be great... But it would be a heck of a lot cheaper than from downloading some from TMobile's website.

Thanks for the info 🙂

This phone will support .amr ringtones which will play real voice. download the nokia multimedia player from Nokia. Convert a short 30 sec mp3 (walmart trick) into amr format. The go to http://www.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/up loadRingtone.php

to send it to your phone.

Hope that helps!

Okay - I followed the instructions on this page exactly and now I am a ringtone-creatin' machine!

http://www.funformobile.com/pages/help/helpAMR.php »

Download the two programs there and follow the step by step instructions.

I've even mixed my own - like I made a U2 mix (made up parts of 4 U2 songs, that's about 40seconds long) and it's one of my ringtones now...This will totally help you.

Good luck!
