I thought everyone should know that if you press and hold the end key while it is locked it will light up and show the home screen that you have set up for phone without unlocking it.

i was looking for something like that. i tried pressing most buttons, but i definitely didn't hold down the end key. that's too much like turning other phones off. i'll definitely be sure to try this for future reviews

actually just to know that it also works on siemens too and it won't turn off the phone if the keypad is locked

As much as I love this fon and nokias in general, I hate the fact that the power button is on the top. Its akward and annoying. I would like to be able to press and hold the end key to shut the fon off.

fon fun, do you actually shut your phone off on a regular basis? I haven't found the power button to be that annoyingly placed. Since this phone has a rated 14 day lifespan, I just keep mine on when I go to sleep at night.

However, Nokia has always been known for unique button designs, so that would explain their choice of placement for the power button.
