ringer (colors and using voice memo)
I just returned the 6100 yesterday for an exchange (was having problems with hearing faint beeping in the background while using headset). Received a new phone and now have a few questions:
I thought my original phone lit up in different colors when it rang..this one does not!
Also, is there a way to use a voice memo and set it as a ringtone?

I neglected to ask..does anyone know what the newest version of software for the 6100 is? I wonder if my phone that I've exchanged has the older version..THANKS!

When the phone rings the LED on the cover that acts as the flash and charging indicator will alternate red & green. The latest software version did not change that on my phone.
As far as using a voice memo as a ring tone that can be done by using the 'options' on the right soft key when in the voice memo list. Select the voice memo you wish to use, select 'options', then select 'set as'. At that point you can set it to whatever type of call or caller you want.
