After the software upgrade
I finally got the software/firmware updated to v2. Now I see a banner "verizon Wireless" blocking my nice wallpaper. Also, everytime a phone ring or when you dial a phone, "Verizon Wireless" is heard. Can I remove these annonying features?

to remove the "verizon wireless" prompt, go to settings, sounds, service alerts, ERI sounds, and turn it to off. As for the Verizon Wireless Banner, you can't get that off without manually editing the phone's config, and I don't know how to do that.
