Disable outside buttons
Each of the outside buttons on the VX6100 does 'something' when held for more than 3 seconds with the flip closed.
The volume down button puts the phone in/out of manner mode. The voice button puts the phone in/out of driving mode. The camera button puts the phone in/out of camera mode.
With the phone in a purse, bag, etc., any or all of these buttons could be pressed and various features activiated/deactivated.
Is there a way to disable all the exterior buttons when the flip is closed?

hi, i'm sorry i don't know your answer but can you tell me what manner mode and driving mode actually do? this keeps happening to my phone too but i don't know how to utilize these features.. thanks!

Manner modes is just their term for turning off the ringer and making the phone only vibrate when it receives a call.
Driving mode is a combination of voice activation and announce mode. When the phone rings it announces the number or the name of the person if in your contact list and asks if you want to answer or not - you just say yes or no. It also combines voice commands so you can say "contacts" then the person's name and it will say "do you mean ____" where the blank is a name, if you say yes it will dial that number -- totally hands free.

You can lock your keypad which also locks the camera and voice command buttons but not the volume button. Press and hold # to lock, again to unlock, and default unlock code is last 4 digits of your phone number.
