Digital and Analog Mode Indicators

My phone never seems to show either of the indicators "A" or " D" icons though the user manual talks about then and my phones software has icon description for them .

My last phone Samsung A 310 clearly showed when the phone when from Digital to Analog .

I would expecy the phone to show the Digital Icon most of the time.

Anyone else has the problem?

When in the native VZW digital network you will not see the 'D'. This is normal. You will see '1x'. IF it ever switches to analog you will see the 'A'.

You can force this to display by entering the 'force mode'
