Get it now: 2.1.3.8
I've read that Verizon may install a newer version at their stores. Has anyone done this, and if so, what versions do you have now?

my phone says that the ERI is 3 not 4, should i go back to verizon and get it updated, is there any difference between the 2??

I had versions 3,4, and 5. 3 and 4 did not seem any different, but 5 limited my ringtone volume. I had a phone with v3, then it had probs, then got a new one w/v4 then got it upgraded....any ringtones I recorded or downloaded were not nearly as loud as they were before the update and not nearly as loud as the stock ringtones.. NO matter how loud you record them, it limits the volume. VZ told me "it must be a problem with the phone" and gave me v4, and now ringtones are perfectly loud.
