Sorry, I've been looking around, but just joined. I would like to know a few answers, sorry if they've been asked before, but thanks for answering them.

1) I hear the phone is bigger. I drew out the dimensions on paper, and it does seem rather large. For those that have had the phone in there hand, is it gigantic, or is it large enough to seem sturdy. And with it being larger, are the keys big too?

2) I've never had a speakerphone, and it's one of my most greatest desire. Does the speakerphone operate easily, and does it sound good on either end?

3) Does the 8000 have the built in Mobile IM feature on the menu like the 7000?

4) Pictures seem to be of pretty good quality. Are there any conditions where pics don't take as well as o...

1.large enough to be sturdy. it may be big, but its also slim. yeah keys are big.

2. speakerphone on 8000 is flawless and very easy to operate. to turn on, all you do is hold the "clr" button for 2 sec. to turn off, all you do is hold hte "clr" button for 2 sec

3. yes, in the 8000, its all spread out. 'get iM" is actually in the messages folder as "Mobile IM"

4.well the camera is a bit slow, but none the less upto great quality.

5. red is the official verizon color. but you can take off the "verizon wireless" banner though.
