I don't want to bust anyone's bubble but LG's website listed the VX 7000 as "coming soon" for about a month before it actually hit the market, and the vx8k isn't even listed on the site yet.

Yes but it was advertised in the Movie Theaters for about 3 months prior too. I have not seen the VX8k at all advertised.
