Motorola MPx220
Cingular is replacing all MPX220's with speaker issues!
I owned an MPX220 and could barely hear anyone on the phone. I called up cingular and they gave me a $350 credit and a new V551. It was at that time when they didn't have the MPX220 in stock. But it's possible that they are replacing everyones MPX220 like this. The rep told me that everyone callng with a speaker issue is getting a $350 credit and a new v551. Now that they have it back in stock they may just replace the phone with a new MPX220 that works. But whatever happens, you wont be stuck with a bad speaker. Good Luck

Did you peel the small transparent (almost invisible) sticker that covered the speaker port? Maybe that was the problem.
